Fantastic 2BD flat/ near lake/ 110sqm (Mainau 10)

Positive: The apartment was beautiful, spacious and well furnished. It was very clean. The location was also good, not in the old town but close to public transport and a quick walk to the lake. Negative: They were very rigid about the check in and check out time. We requested so much for some flexibility, since we had two small children but they refused to extend checkout till 11-1130. I'm assuming that's enough time for them to make the apartment ready for the next check in at 3. Even at check in, they refused to let us leave just one medium suitcase and one cabin bag in the apartment at 12, when we reached Zurich. It was very inconvenient to drop the luggage to their office and then rush from where we were at 5pm to collect it, before they closed. If it wasn't for this inflexibility, i would rate this apartment higher and ignore the negatives mentioned below. Apart from a soap in the two bathrooms and a liquid soap in the kitchen, there were no toiletries at all; no body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion. There was no detergent, and since we were staying just a night, we didnt want to go to the store and buy a large packet of detergent. The bathrooms lacked glasses and towel racks, which made it inconvenient to use. There was no oil, sugar, coffee pods, creamer, salt etc. I've stayed in apartments all over the world, and this is the only one which didn't supply these basic necessities. These small and inexpensive things just make life easier and the stay really pleasant for any guests

I recommend this property to stay. Positive: The property was in a good location and it was comfortable and clean. Negative: There were no hand washing liquid and washing machine liquid.
