Practical and cozy City Studio (Art 6)

Positive: A very bright and comfortable studio for one or two people for a few days in Zurich. There is an equipped kitchen for those who would like to cook. The bed is very comfortable which is really important in an apartment. Big nice TV. The bathroom is quite small. The location is indeed very good as you can walk to the city center and the train station or take the tram or the bus. The communication you will receive is excellent. We didn't have any problem with checking in and other general instructions. I would stay again if I have the chance :)

The apartment is excellently located for accessing points of interest on foot or via public transport. 2. It is situated on a very busy street; with the windows open, the noise pollution is unbearable. With the windows closed, the soundproofing is good, making the traffic noise tolerable. 3. Temperatures in Zurich were exceeding 35°C. The apartment has no air conditioning and didn't even have a fan. 4. We endured two days of absolute hell—heat and noise—before the host managed to provide us with a standard pedestal fan. 5. Consequently, we spent our first two nights in the apartment wide awake due to the terrible heat and noise! 6. Upon opening the apartment windows, I discovered the blinds were filthy. I informed the host about the dirt; he thanked me for the information, but the blinds remained uncleaned right up until we checked out. Opening the windows for fresh air meant breathing in a lot of grime! Luckily, we don't suffer from dust allergies. However, the host is extremely concerned about guests removing the trash; instructions regarding this, as well as check-in and check-out times, are precise and repeatedly emphasized! 7. The pillows suit those who prefer very soft, flat pillows. 8. The kitchen is equipped with basic utensils. 9. The Wi-Fi worked satisfactorily. 10. The bathroom is fully equipped but very small; I believe an obese person might struggle to use it. 11. In summary, if you plan to stay during winter or autumn and want a good location, this property might be an option. However, based on my experience, I think it is better to choose different accommodation for the summer. Negative: 1. Spending two sleepless nights due to traffic noise and unbearable heat, with no fan in the apartment. I would never leave a guest in that situation—even if I had to go and bring a fan to the apartment myself! 2. The filthy blinds and the failure to take any steps to clean them.
