Amazing big studio city center (Sun 7)

Apartment itself was comfortable. Several practical and cleanliness issues made the stay less smooth Positive: The apartment was bright, spacious, and generally comfortable. After I reported the marijuana smell in the hallway, the owner responded quickly and the issue was resolved the same evening, which I appreciated. Negative: There were several cleanliness issues on arrival (hair in the sink and on the floor, dirty or broken dishes, and candy wrappers and hair debris inside a bedside drawer), and I also found a used syringe in the closet, which raised safety concerns. There were no basic kitchen items provided (such as salt or basic seasonings). I arrived on Sunday and could only cook food without seasoning until I was able to buy supplies on Monday. The room only had a capsule-type coffee machine and no capsules were provided, so I could not make coffee until the following day. The WiFi information in the room was provided only via a QR code, which requires internet access. As a traveler arriving without mobile data, it took time to connect. I attempted to call the emergency number during their available hours but could only leave a voicemail and did not receive a callback. Eventually, I had to go to the Zurich HB tourist information center to access WiFi. When the kitchen ventilation fan was turned on, strong drafts came through the gaps around the windows and caused very loud noise. Communication regarding a booking date change request was not clearly resolved. Although both the accommodation and Booking.com initially indicated that they would review the situation, the matter ultimately remained unclear and no refund was provided.

It was exactly as described. Although it’s called a studio, it was spacious and felt much larger. It’s only 2–3 tram stops from Zurich HB Station, close to the city center yet located in a quiet area, making it perfect for enjoying everyday life in Zurich at a relaxed pace. I think it would be an excellent choice for those who have a Swiss Travel Pass or otherwise plan to use Zurich’s trams freely.
