Awesome 2BR flat near lake/city center (SF16)

excellent location, good facilties and excellent host.

Nice, spacious apartment in excellent location but cleanliness fell short. Positive: The apartment is in an excellent location with easy access to downtown and public transportation, has a good layout, many windows and is spacious and well equipped. Kitchen and bathroom facilities are good, although access to shower requires stepping into the bathtub. Dimi, who communicated with us was kind, quick and courteous. Negative: When we checked in after a 14 hour flight it was almost dark. Even then we immediately noticed that the floors across the apartment, including kitchen, had clearly be not properly wet-cleaned for quite some time. Both ventilators, one in the bedroom, one in the living room, were heavily covered in dust and dirt, possibly mould, raising health concerns especially. The lights in the apartment were partly disconnected and overall lighting is substandard. After raising this issue someone came over to clean, could partially remove the dust from the fan cover and did some vacuuming, but the floor remained unclean as a proper wet-wipe was required. We usually only use a few dishes in daily rotation but one day we needed some more plates and bowls from the cupboards and noticed that these were covered with food remains and obviously not clean. We are not happy about the way our complaint was handled overall.

We had an excellent stay and would return again! Positive: The property was in an excellent location walkable to the Old Town and lake. It was very spacious with comfortable beds and fully stocked kitchen if you would like to cook. Nice little balcony to enjoy a meal and close to public transport.
